Electric Lock Troubleshooting:

Magnetic Lock Troubleshooting:

Condition Check Action
After powering on the magnetic lock, the armature plate does not stick Check whether the power supply is normal and whether the power light (red) is on  
The magnetic lock is powered, but the red LED is dim and it does not stick? Check whether the voltage and current meet the magnetic lock's requirements  
The magnetic lock delay is adjusted but has no effect? The magnetic lock delay starts timing when the door begins to open, not after the door is open  

After the armature plate sticks, there is slight vibration and insufficient holding force?		 Check whether the lock body surface and armature plate lie flat against each other  
The magnetic lock armature plate often needs adjustment?
 (1) Check whether alignment dowels are fitted on the armature plate
(2) Check whether rubber gaskets are fitted
(3) Recommend the customer apply thread-locker to the screws		  
After using the magnetic lock for a while, the armature plate no longer sticks well?

 (1) Check whether the power supply (current in amps) output has decreased
(2) Check whether there is foreign matter (rust, dust, etc.) on the magnet surface		  
Closing the door with the magnetic lock is very noisy?

 (1) Check whether shock-absorbing gaskets are fitted
(2) Check whether the screws on the armature plate side are too loose
(3) Check whether the gap between the magnetic lock and the armature plate is appropriate		  
Using a double-leaf magnetic lock set, after a while it no longer sticks? Check whether the power supply is sufficient (to meet the power demand of the dual lock set)  
With a controller, no action? Check whether the (controller) output is correct  
With an auxiliary bracket, it does not stick? (1) Is the auxiliary bracket installed correctly?
(2) Check whether the armature plate and the body's steel plate are vertically and flatly aligned		  

 

Anode Lock Troubleshooting:

Condition Check Action
The anode lock does not move after installation? Check the voltage and current, whether power is supplied, and whether positive and negative are correct Reverse the positive/negative contacts
After power-on, the (lock cylinder) chatters rapidly and continuously? Check whether the voltage and current output meet product requirements (1A or above) Replace the power supply (our products all provide 1A or above)
After using the anode lock for a while, the lock cylinder cannot move? (1) Check whether the power supply output is correct
(2) Check whether the power supply is normal or faulty (voltage, current in amps)		 Replace the power supply (our products all provide 1A or above<
Anode lock with (exit button), no action after installation? Confirm whether the exit button is of NO or NC type Change the operating contact
Anode lock with (remote control), no action? (1) Check whether the remote's NO&NC output is correct
(2) Check whether the (normally closed switch) (red) has been accidentally triggered		 Change the operating contact
The anode lock has a magnet accessory installed, but no action?   Reposition and adjust the gap
The anode lock (cylinder) pushes out with weak force? (1) Check whether the voltage & current (amps) output is sufficient
(2) Check whether the (lock cylinder) moves smoothly and is free of foreign matter		 Replace the power supply (our products all provide 1A or above); clear obstructions
Anode lock with a control unit, still no action? Check whether the anode lock and (control unit) are powered independently Recommend isolating it from the control unit and powering it separately
Anode lock powered separately, after magnet sensing the (cylinder) does not move? Check whether the (control unit) output signal is correct  
During anode lock installation, because the cylinder cannot fully extend, the lock body heats up? Add spacers to the lock body's extension plate so the cylinder can fully extend; once the cylinder fully extends, the lock body temperature will no longer rise
